Purpose of The Big Platform
The purpose of The Big Platform is to enable photographers, videographers, musicians and just about any content creator to create an entire room setting with a rotating center platform in just 5 minutes.
The end use cases are 360 photography, lifestyle photography, product videography, portrait photography, fashion photography, music videos, retail displays, trade show booths, and more.
How Does it Work?
The entire process of setting up your Big Platform takes just 5 minutes. Our platform is manufactured by us in Colorado (USA) and features heavy duty Baltic birch wood.
Each piece of the Big Platform locks into place without the use of tools and it can be taken apart and stored in your closet when you are done using it.
Imagine: setting up an entire room and then knocking it down in just 10 minutes. This is incredibly powerful and a huge time saver. Move the Big Platform around your space quickly and easily and move it out of the way when you're done.
After you have assembled The Big Platform, you can decorate it however you like. Then place an object(s) / person / etc on the center rotating turntable and manually turn it.
There are notches on the perimeter of the turntable that represent 5 degree rotations. Use these notches as your guide if you're doing 360 degree photography. You can ignore them otherwise.
If you take 1 picture every time the turntable rotates 5 degrees, you will have taken 72 pictures in your 360 degree shoot (360° / 5 = 72 pictures). We recommend using a bluetooth clicker to speed up your photoshoots. A 360 degree photoshoot should take under 2 minutes with the use of a bluetooth clicker that is connected to your camera or smartphone.
After you have completed your 360 product photoshoot, you can edit the images yourself or upload your images to us. We will email you the pictures back and tell you how to create a 360 spin photo for your website.
