Large Product Turntable
Featuring Baltic birch wood, the Big Turn is our flagship product. The Big Turn is a patent-pending very large photography turntable for very large objects. With a 94 inch diameter, you can do 360 degree photoshoots of entire furniture sets with it.
Purpose of the Turntable
The purpose of the Big Turn is to do 360 degree photoshoots of large products (up to 94" Wide) in under 2 minutes. With a 360 photoshoot you can then edit your images and create a 360 spin image of your product for your website
Built to hold up to 1,100 Lbs of weight (see video above for proof) - perfect for refrigerators, motorcycles and other heavy products!
How Does it Work?
Manually operated by hand or foot, the Big Turn requires no tools to assemble. It consists of a center hub and 8 wings. The center hub uses our patent-pending "flipping" technology, which means it can be turned over, with one side allowing the table to stop every 5 degrees and the other side allowing the table to turn freely (for 360 photoshoots and video shoots).
After setting up your turntable, which takes about 2 minutes, position your object on the center of the turntable. If you have more than one object (for example, a sofa + chair), use the center circle on the turntable as your reference point and center the objects using that reference point.
After you have positioned your object(s), you can start your 360 degree photography. Simply set up a tripod to hold your camera or smart phone in front of the center of the Big Turn. Then place the included marker tab or anything small like a pen or piece of tape on the floor to designate the start and stop point of your photoshoot.
Then locate the wing with the arrow on it and point the arrow at your marker tab to start your photoshoot. There are grooves on the perimeter of the turntable that are located at every 5 degree turn. These grooves will tell you when to take picture for your 360 photoshoot.
If you take 1 picture every time the groove lines up with the marker tab you put on the ground, you will have taken 72 pictures in your 360 degree shoot (360° / 5 = 72 pictures). We recommend using a bluetooth clicker to speed up your photoshoot. A 360 degree photoshoot should take under 2 minutes with the use of a bluetooth clicker that is connected to your camera or smartphone.
After you have completed your 360 product photoshoot, you can edit the images yourself or upload your images to us. We will email you the pictures back and tell you how to create a 360 spin photo for your website.
